Mr. Fissel works with clients to achieve their goals through systematic financial planning practices.

In addition to being a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, he earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation which certifies he has specialized knowledge of fiduciary standards of care and their application to the investment management process. Mr. Fissel uses this information to help employers improve their retirement plan’s design.

He is published in various publications; including, Columbus Business First and The Columbus Dispatch. Mr. Fissel is a graduate of Miami University with a bachelor of science in engineering. He previously was placed in the fast-track program as an engineer for Siemens which ultimately landed Mark and his wife a year abroad, living in Germany as an international delegate.

Mark serves as an elected official in Bellefontaine as City Treasurer, and was a former City Councilman and Finance Committee Chairman. In addition, he has sat on the Board of Directors for several local non-profit organizations. Mark lives in Bellefontaine with his wife Stephanie and their sons, Max, Harrison, Jack & Bennett.

Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies™ (the Center), the standards-setting body for fi360. The AIF Designation signifies specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care. The Designation is the culmination of a rigorous training program, which includes a comprehensive, closed-book final examination under the supervision of a proctor, and agreement to abide by the Code of Ethics. On an ongoing basis, Designees are required to complete continuing education to maintain the AIF Designation.
