This event, hosted for top advisors, was geared towards the education of plan fiduciaries. Equipped with additional fiduciary tools, advisors can help protect clients’ in today’s litigious landscape by bolstering their “fiduciary file” and continuously working towards the best interest of their participants. Food Truck Festival

Within walking distance of our office is The Columbus Food Truck Festival!  With three days of food and live music, the Festival is being held Friday August 14th, Saturday August 15th, & Sunday August 16th at the Columbus Commons. The festival is a features over 70 of the best food trucks in Ohio, entertainment, live music, and arts & crafts. It is sure to be family fun for all ages.

Regulatory Update

Obama doubles down on DOL fiduciary rule
President Obama on Monday reiterated his administration’s intent to implement the Department of Labor’s proposed fiduciary rule in his remarks at the White House’s Conference on Aging.

“The goal here is to put an end to Wall Street brokers who benefit from back door payments or hidden fees at the expense of their clients,” said the president at the event, which is hosted once every 10 years by the White House. (Read More)
